Most students arrive at a counseling session or an application deadline with a list. Debate club. Some volunteering. A summer program. No dates, no artifacts, no way to verify any of it happened the way it's described.
Jessica has attended multiple schools through repeated moves. No single school, teacher, or activity provider holds the whole story. Her Distinction archive does: dated projects, completed milestones, reflections in her own voice, source corrections, obstacles and what followed them, adult feedback, career interviews, and the evidence behind a genuine change from veterinary medicine to human medicine.

The recommender point
No single teacher has known Jessica for three years. A teacher from three postings ago observed something real, and that observation is dated, specific, and still in the file. Evidence is organized by who directly observed which stage, so a new recommender can read what came before without pretending they were there for it.
Where you come in
Distinction does not replace the consultant, counselor, teacher, or academic adviser. The consultant owns strategy, lists, requirements, deadlines, essay feedback, and submission. Distinction provides the chronology and evidence. Jessica writes the essays and makes the final choices. Neither party manufactures a story the archive does not support.
