Your scholars deserve a record.
Your funders keep asking for one.
Every program can show attendance. Almost none can show what a scholar became over three years: the projects finished, the setbacks worked through, the mentors met, in the scholar's own words, dated as it happened. Distinction gives your whole cohort a coach and a permanent record, and gives your program the longitudinal evidence that reports and grant applications ask for.
What each side gets

Your scholars
A coach who never runs out of patience, real self-chosen projects, and a record they own, the same product families pay full price for, nothing reduced.
Your mentors
Visibility into each scholar's work between sessions, and their own contribution recorded: what they observed, when, and what came of it.
Your program
Cohort oversight in one place, and the thing nobody else can hand a funder: dated, scholar-authored evidence of growth across years, exportable per scholar or across the cohort.
Built for cohorts, not one-by-one signups
Your program onboards scholars as a batch: one import, not dozens of separate applications. Each scholar still gets the full individual intake, the deep questions, in their own voice, because the coaching is only as good as what it knows. See where a record begins.
Program staff see cohort progress; parents or guardians keep the same full visibility every family gets; safety review runs on every scholar conversation exactly as it does for every child on the platform.
Why the founder builds this
He grew up poor. No program selected him. What he had was discarded machines he found interesting and the time to take them apart, and that was enough to learn that his own effort moved things. Talent was never the missing piece for kids like him, and it is not the missing piece for your scholars. What a program can hand them is the arrangement: projects they choose, someone who follows through with them, and a dated record of what they became.
US$290 per scholar per year
For cohorts of ten scholars or more, about half the family price, because your program does part of the work families do alone: recruitment, mentoring, and follow-through. Smaller cohorts and pilot arrangements: talk to us.
This rate is for registered charities and scholarship programs serving young people who could not otherwise afford Distinction. It is not available to fee charging schools, including the many excellent international schools that are constituted as not for profit. If you are a school, see the schools page.
Partner cohorts are running now. If you fund, run, or mentor in a charity or scholarship program for young people aged 10 to 18 and want your scholars to leave with more than a certificate, write to us through the contact page: a real person reads every message.
For the counselors and mentors who will read these records, see what they receive.
