Your school chooses this once. The underlying record never changes, only the language your reports come out in.
School access is read only
Staff can view the students assigned to them. Staff cannot edit a reflection, a contact, a consent status, or a parent decision, and cannot see any student they are not assigned to. Aggregate reporting is de identified, and any group of fewer than five students is suppressed.

Any field with fewer than five students is suppressed and does not appear. That is why the numbers here do not sum to the total.
What a school does not get
- No access to a student the school has not been assigned.
- No ability to edit, delete, or correct anything a student wrote.
- No visibility of a family's private conversation with the coach.
- No student data at all until the school has named its data controller, its privacy notice, its safeguarding contact, and its retention policy.
The record belongs to the student and the family. A school licenses a view of it while the student is enrolled, and that view ends when the license ends, when the assignment ends, when the student leaves, or when the student turns 18.
This is the school's view. The student's view is where the work happens.
